All metal steel construction with antique brass finish. Knurled steel nut for better grip in all weather conditions. The nut is free spinning, which means that when the nut is tightened to close it, the nut will spin freely until positively engaged. In other words, the nut is not supposed to tighten down. That is an intentional product design to help prevent accidental opening. Choose 1 inch width to accommodate a 1 inch wide sling, or 1.25 inch width to accommodate a 1.25 inch wide sling. Sold in pairs.

Jonathan Choo The finish was even nicer than the picture. Not shiny at all and a nice deep color. They function very well.
Only drawback is being in Canada I ended up paying around $75 when all the shipping and custom fees were paid but I really don’t mind when they look and function this good.
