All metal steel construction with antique black finish. Knurled steel nut for better grip in all weather conditions. The nut is free spinning, which means that when the nut is tightened to close it, the nut will spin freely until positively engaged. In other words, the nut is not supposed to tighten down. That is an intentional product design to help prevent accidental opening. Choose 1 inch width to accommodate a 1 inch wide sling, or 1.25 inch width to accommodate a 1.25 inch wide sling. Sold in pairs.
